My friends and I like to argue about a great many things indeed, but here are a few, The origins of the universe, GreenPeace and saving sharks from horrible fates at the hands of finers,Obamas health care, Is there other life in the universe, and as of late the Catholic churches Petaphile scandal.
2.well I think there is a god and the big bang theory is only explained by a god who made the big bang.... I think that Green Peace should at all costs stop the fin soup market...There is other life in the universe....The health care bill is weak and unsastainable.....And the scandal with the catholic leaders is pathetic and so wrong what the ____ are they thinking?
3.I think it wrong when people assume that we are the only ones in the Universe..I think that shark fin soup is not worth the mass removal of an entire branch of the food chain..it is wrong to assume that there is no life other places in the universe because its so big we might not ever know but, the numbers sugest that there is on way there is not other forms of life..the health care bill is all wrong..and the preist that offended should be removed and charged.
4.I wish I could convince everyone of these views.

Blog assignment for 4-6-10 analysis response

This student paper is a very good one in my opinion. They have utilized many of the important parts of the rhetorical analysis process.They maintain a very good academic tone they make good use of professional sounding words. The word that they use in my opinion really help the writer sound credible smart and compitant. There is a very good academic tone that is keep throughout the piece. They have encluded the rhetorical situation and all of the parts like the intended audience, the place where the speach was given, they also have the reason behind why the speach was given(which is a really good one.) Also included in the rhetorical situation the date and place that the speach was given and the name of the person giving the speach, which is very good. The rehtorical tool are all mentioned early in the paper which helps us know the layout that the paper should follow and then they do a good job of folloing that layout, they did a wonderful job with that and the transitions wich made it for a easy read for me. They have done a super job of ramping up and down for the most part wich helped the paper run smooth and make sense. The use of quotes really set the author apart as a credible source. They included ther page nubers in which the quotes could be found, which is a good practice to do. Each body paragraph touches each rhetorical tool seperately and gives strong examples.They do a perfect job with the conclusion they dont copy the intro paragraph and they have a unique way of opening the conclusion(not saying in conlusion, or I close by......) so overall in my elementry opinion this piece follows all the rules that I understand about rhetorical analysis well.

Assignment 3-26-10

I consider my writing process to be fairly good. Now having said that I am a far cry from being a award winning author or anything like that. I found that I use quite a few of the steps that Williams listed in one way or another. I find that the more I write the better and more comfortable I get. I have even started to enjoy writing the more I do it. Of course some things are easier and funner to write about than others. Another thing that I discovered sence talking this class was how much rhetoric is used in so many things. I also listen to and hear the way people speak now, in much more detail than I ever remeber doing. I struggle with some bit of sounding kind of repetative. That is one thing that I realize that I need to work on. Another thing that I have noticed That I can do better at is to learn how to spell better. I can also be alot better at useing more varitity in my verbs. I feel that I do Get my point accross and people know what I am talking about. Although I can really be way more smooth about it. I really feel that I have all the basic concepts down I just need to practice and never think that I have got to the point where I dont need to improve anymore. I kinda get the feeling though that writing is a thing that you can always do better and improve in.

does college matter?

Ok so does college really matter? Well I think it's all in how you look at it. Take me for example. I am attending college right now. I am paying tons of money. I would like to think that all my effort is going to pay off for me in the end. but will it? Is there a good way of finding out before life has past me by? Only time will tell. One thing is for certain, choosing a career that you are passionate about and love doing is very important. I think that any person that pays tons of money and wastes years of life training to do something that they will end up hating is very foolish! I am really passionate about the field I have decided to pursue. Sometimes the passion I have for it is the only thing that keeps me going when school gets tuff. Of course other things to keep ones self motivated is always a plus. For example, I have three wonderful children that I love very much. I truly feel that achieving my astro physics degree will help me provide a good future for them. I want to be able to buy my wife the house and every thing else she wants in life. These are just some of the things that help me keep motivated to finish school. ok now on the other hand there are people that do not think that college is important. Take my friend Micah. He belives that college is way over rated. He also belives that whether or not a person has a degree really does not have that big of an effect on ones income. He thinks that all the money that I have spent on classes and books and all the time I have put in will never balance out. Time will tell who is right and who is wrong. I think that its safe to say that be it college or on the job training or however you decide to make a living and provide for those you love, as long as you have means to do so its always worth it. Some ways are just harder than others.

Why blogs are a good for english class

Ok here we go. Im going to be writing today about some of the benefits of using blogs in the English class. Well first I think ill start with what I think is the fun stuff. Sharing ideas is always good becuase other people think diferently and can help your thought process become bigger. It can also be a good way to share cultureand meet people who share the same ideals and whom you might not have otherwise met. Also using a blog is a nice way to watch yourself progress as a writer. Another reason that using blogs for writing in your english class is that the site keeps track of all your documents, so you dont have to carry aroung tons of folders. I dont know about you guys but I personaly think carrying around lots of notebooks is for suckers. Also for all those people who are at one with the trees and all that, using a blog to write for school will help them feel good about not "killing" so many trees. For me personaly though its great because I am the type of person who looses things rather easy, so its nice to feel that I have all my papers in a safe place. Also with printing bcomeing a bigger part of daily life with home photo kits and all that kind of stuff. It seems like any fool like myself can click and print. I also belive that as the blogs become more popular and user friendly that more people will use them for many functions so its good to have one more tool for networking with others, weather it is personal or for work. The internet and computers are a huge part of all of our futures weather we like it or not. Blogging in english class in my opinion for all its worth, is a good way that schools and teachers can help prepare us for our futures. Also the more you type and write the better you will get, and it never hurts to be good at something right? I think typing is going to be around for a few more years so blogging to improve your typing and writing skills are ones that will always come in handy. So in closeing I think that my vote is that blogging is a great resource and tool for helping us along in english class. Thanks let me know what you think.
